How does my purchase help buy Her Freedom?

There are a number of ways:

1.

I Bought Her Freedom donates profits to Her Freedom Foundation our governing charity.  Her Freedom Foundation supports various different charities that aid women both on home soil and internationally.  Our main focus of interest is:

  • All forms of slavery
  • Violence against women.
  • Human Trafficking
  • Sex Work
  • Refugees

Our main aim is to help the less visible charities with financial support enabling them to really focus on what their purpose is.

Through various different means i.e fundraisers, donations or ongoing support, we have supported the following charities:

I Bought Her Freedom also holds charity fundraising events that focus on all things interiors while championing the cause of women’s freedom and promoting the sponsored Charity.  These events are perfect for bringing the community together to learn from the industries top interior designers such as our own Deborah de Jong about the Tips and Tricks of the Trade and how to make your home look beautiful on a budget.  

Home wares popup stalls can be set up at these events that not only make our home wares products available for purchase but also connect us to the community of supporters who are there to play their part in making a difference.

The third way your money goes towards women’s freedom is through the manufacturing process of our product.  Our aim is to source product from all around the world, product that has been made by the very hands of those that need our help the most. 

I Bought Her Freedom are currently working on exclusive lines where we can provide you with product that has come direct from women in need around the world.

Where do you source your product from?

We currently source our products direct through Australian Wholesalers who offer good quality product at affordable prices.  They have been hand picked by us because of their proven quality and service.  
We are also in production of our own branded products that will make up an exclusive line for I Bought Her Freedom, along with product sourced from projects around the world who work with women in vulnerable situations.

Do you ship internationally?
We love to connect with our friends overseas and offer you the chance to put heart in your home.  Our aim is to offer you international shipping and we are moving towards bringing you this option.  In the meantime, if you wish to place an order for delivery outside of Australia then please contact us direct by emailing: internationalorders@iboughtherfreedom.com quoting the details of your order and your location.

 

Delivery and Returns Questions

What if my item has arrived damaged?

In the unlikely event that your item arrives damaged contact us by email at returns@iboughtherfreedom.com and include the order number and tell us which items were damaged and how (sending us a digital photo would be really helpful if you can). If we can’t send you a replacement part to fix the problem then we’ll pay to have the item returned to us and will send a replacement to you. If you do not want parts or a replacement, then the item comes under our normal returns policy. Please make sure that you check for damage immediately upon receiving the product(s), as we cannot take responsibility for damages that may happen once you have received the product(s).

How to return an item you've bought from I Bought Her Freedom?

To organize a return, contact us by email at returns@iboughtherfreedom.com for a return acknowledgement. Please include your order number and let us know which item(s) you are returning. We will arrange for the return of the item to us. Please don’t post it back to us..

What if I change my mind and want to return my purchase?

You can return an item that you bought from us for any reason within 7 days of receiving the item – no questions asked.

If you decide to return your item then we’ll refund the purchase price, less two delivery fees (to cover the outward and inbound delivery costs). Some of our products can be offered with free delivery. Please be aware that if you return one of these products our actual delivery costs (both outbound and inbound) will be deducted from your refund. The item must be returned in its original condition so that we can endeavour to re-sell it.

How do I work out my delivery costs?

I Bought Her Freedom has a nationwide coverage for the majority of its products and delivery costs will vary throughout our whole product range. Select your products to purchase then add to cart.  At checkout enter your shipping address and click continue to shipping method.  You will be presented with available options for shipping before continuing to payment.

In very exceptional cases where delivery may result in unusually high freight charges (including, but not limited to, remote delivery locations, inner city deliveries, island deliveries, etc.), I Bought Her Freedom reserves the right to cancel an order. Please contact us first if you'd like to check if your location may be subject to unusually high freight charges.

How long will my purchase take to arrive at my door?

Your order will usually dispatch within 72 hours of your order confirmation. We use Australia Parcel Post for most nationwide orders along with other carrier services.

For international orders we are subject to the international carrier costs and services. Delivery of international orders we will liaise direct with you the customer to agree the best delivery method for you.

We endeavour to partner with reputable carriers known for their high level of customer service. Please liaise with us at enquiries@iboughtherfreedom.com if you have any concerns regarding your delivery.
